Are your makeup brushes clean?

One more thing to help clear you skin. How often do you clean your makeup brushes? You may not realize it but dirt and bacteria can build up quickly in your brushes. To avoid clogging your pores try to frequently clean your brushes, I try to do it at least every 2 weeks or so. How to Clean MakeUp Brushes breaks it down to 5 easy steps.

1. Run the bristles of the makeup brushes under warm running water.
2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.
3. Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water.
4. Continue risinging until no color leaves the brush.
5. Allow it to air-dry.

We change our sheets, wash our towels, do our laundry so why wouldn't we clean our makeup utensils that often too!

Happy Cleaning!

Empower ME!

With all the fun online options available today its more difficult than ever to get kids out of the house and onto a playground. With childhood obesity becoming a nationwide problem it is more important than ever to teach your children healthy habits. Realizing this trend, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation is working to get kids motivated to work out by challenging them to make their own exercise videos as part of a new campaign called empowerME.

After uploading a video of their"best moves," kids have a chance to win an autographed copy of Cheetah Girl/Dancing with the Stars contestant Sabrina Bryan's newly released dance workout DVD, as well as a personalized message from the star. So far, over 1 million entries have been committed to the empowerME challenge. Encourage your kids to get involved today!

I'm wondering if they take entries from grown-up "kids"!

Stay Ahead of the Aging Game

Whether you are in your 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's or 60's your skin matters. When we are young and want to be the talk of the town, we don't invest too much in SPF's or anti-wrinkle creams, instead we buy tanning oil and enhancing lotion. They used to say you didn't need to start worrying about your skin until your 30's but research shows, 20 year olds are faced with more stress related issues and need to start caring at an earlier age. Anti-aging Skincare Review gives us some tips on how to stay younger looking throughout each decade you go through.

I use IQ Derma's Life Without Wrinkles SPF 25 cream for my skin. Whichever skincare you choose make sure it has an SPF that will hydrate your skin and keep it protected from the sun.

Happy Anti-Aging!
