Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi all,
In just 2 short days we will all be enjoying some quality time with our bellies! Thanksgiving marks the start of over a month of parties, celebrations, family gatherings and other excuses to neglect our diet and exercise regimes.
But it doesn't have to be this way. You can still enjoy all your favorite comfort foods this Thursday without sacrificing your waistline, just by making a few easy substitutions. Check out

Hi all,
Did you know that Barbie is turning 50! She first appeared at the Toy Fair in New York in 1959 and now to commemorate her birthday Mattel is planning an runway show in her honor at New York Fashion week in February 09. She will be dressed by 50 fashion designers and I for one and really crossing my fingers that Betsey Johnson and Anna Sui got the memo on this one.

Focus Groups
Hi All,
Did you know that iQ Derma hosts focus groups regularly at their LA offices to test out new products and get customer feedback on formulas? If you are interested in participating in one of these groups and live in the LA area you should consider sending your contact information as well as age and skin type in to
focusgroups@ibinc.com for consideration. Participants receive all products free of charge during the evaluation period and are even compensated for their time and travel expenses. Right now a group is being assembled to evalulate a brand new anti-aging line from iQ Derma. These products wont be available for purchase until early 2009, so you could be the very first to get your hands on them and, bonus: you'll get to meet 'lil ole me, in the flesh!

Finding Balance
Do you just go, go, go every day? Between work, family and friends are you ready to collapse? Well, maybe it's time to put yourself first for a change.
Take this quiz at
iVillage to see if you're in danger of hitting a breaking point and to find out how to recover so sanity even with a packed schedule.
I just took it and am apparently "Even Steven" and totally balanced! To be fair though since I'm not married and don't have kids I sort of had to imagine my answers to most of the questions, which might have given me a slight competetive edge. ;)
