Empower ME!

With all the fun online options available today its more difficult than ever to get kids out of the house and onto a playground. With childhood obesity becoming a nationwide problem it is more important than ever to teach your children healthy habits. Realizing this trend, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation is working to get kids motivated to work out by challenging them to make their own exercise videos as part of a new campaign called empowerME.

After uploading a video of their"best moves," kids have a chance to win an autographed copy of Cheetah Girl/Dancing with the Stars contestant Sabrina Bryan's newly released dance workout DVD, as well as a personalized message from the star. So far, over 1 million entries have been committed to the empowerME challenge. Encourage your kids to get involved today!

I'm wondering if they take entries from grown-up "kids"!

Stay Ahead of the Aging Game

Whether you are in your 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's or 60's your skin matters. When we are young and want to be the talk of the town, we don't invest too much in SPF's or anti-wrinkle creams, instead we buy tanning oil and enhancing lotion. They used to say you didn't need to start worrying about your skin until your 30's but research shows, 20 year olds are faced with more stress related issues and need to start caring at an earlier age. Anti-aging Skincare Review gives us some tips on how to stay younger looking throughout each decade you go through.

I use IQ Derma's Life Without Wrinkles SPF 25 cream for my skin. Whichever skincare you choose make sure it has an SPF that will hydrate your skin and keep it protected from the sun.

Happy Anti-Aging!

Tweet Much?

So you may have noticed that a little thing called Twitter has been getting a lot of attention recently.  And this may come as a big surprise to you but the Twitter Traffic Exlosion is actually not comprised of tweens, teens or twenty-somethings.  According to Reuters reporter Alexei Oreskovic it is actually the 25-54 year old segment that is pushing Twitter traffic up and its 45-54 year olds who are 36% more likely than average to visit the site.

And with that said, we thought it was about time that iQ Derma jumped on board the Twitter Train. But if you'd prefer to follow Clear Remedy specifically you can do that too. What are you waiting for? Follow us!

Beat Acne for Good!

Hi all,

As summer time approaches I always have to worry about my skin a little more. As a 30 year old woman you'd think that acne would be a problem from my ancient past, but it seems like whenever things heat up I have to deal with a little bit of (oh this is so embarrassing!) Bacne!

Which is absolutely not something I'm prepared to deal with.

Luckily, I've found that using a regimen designed for facial acne works wonders on keeping my body blemishes in check. If you have the same concerns and have been been wondering about Clear Remedy and haven't been sure if you should give it a try, you might want to check out this review to get the skinny on attaining the clear skin of your dreams.

4 Rules of Breakfast

So admit it, you don't always remember to eat breakfast. Well adding a meal to your morning routine can really aid with maintaining a healthy weight.

Here's some simple rules to turn your breakfast into a cravings crusher, pound shedder and mood booster!

1) Eat it daily.

Your goal is to make it an automatic habit. You'll notice that if that those late-day low blood sugar woes and sugary snack cravings are a thing of the past.

2) Do it first thing.

For the best results, eat breakfast within an hour or so of waking up even if you're not hungry.

3) Go complex.

We're talking complex carbohydrates here (whole-grain cereals, oats, high-fiber fruits, etc.). The fiber keeps blood sugar on an even keel and helps you feel full longer.

4) Protein Power.

Protein can come from low fat meats, eggs, beans or dairy. Avoid the sugary cereals, syrups, pastries, and white breads which will leave you hungry in a couple of hours.

Give these tips a shot and you'll soon notice how much better you feel when you make breakfast a habit.

In our tough economy, people are eager to find new ways to pinch pennies but maintain a healthy and fun lifestyle. One alternative to expensive eating could be substituting your daily protein intake from meat or poultry to dairy! One carton of eggs can go a long way: breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a late night snack; all the protein at almost 3/4 of the cost.

Check out all the different dishes you can make with Eggs being your main ingredient here!
