Are your makeup brushes clean?
One more thing to help clear you skin. How often do you clean your makeup brushes? You may not realize it but dirt and bacteria can build up quickly in your brushes. To avoid clogging your pores try to frequently clean your brushes, I try to do it at least every 2 weeks or so.
How to Clean MakeUp Brushes breaks it down to 5 easy steps.
1. Run the bristles of the makeup brushes under warm running water.
2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.
3. Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water.
4. Continue risinging until no color leaves the brush.
5. Allow it to air-dry.
We change our sheets, wash our towels, do our laundry so why wouldn't we clean our makeup utensils that often too!
Happy Cleaning!
